Subject: Best free AI Image Generator? April 15th 2023, 2:29 pm
It's not really a request but more of a discussion. Has anyone managed to find or come across a free AI Image Generator that is really worthwhile and can generate good examples of pixel art? Personally, I have tried some free ones but the results are bad or very limited in their scale.

I have not used any... Can you share the links of the ones you have tried for interested people?

There are multiple links on the web, most of them have quite a few limitations in their free use, achieving only a low quality result.
Midjourney is the most popular and was free for a while.
From what I read, a good alternative, at least to what I'm looking for (pixel art), is Leonardo AI. You have to request access to the trial version and due to its high demand it can take a few months. It offers image generation engines, one in particular specialized in pixel art or vintage aesthetics. I'm on the waiting list to try it. https://leonardo.ai/
Blue Willow, beta free similar to Midjourney and a Discord-based interface. https://www.bluewillow.ai/
Bing Image Generator, also free but has a daily limit of tokens (images) for its creation. https://www.bing.com/images/create
Another option to try is DALL-E 2, it requires prior registration and is more aesthetically limited compared to the previous ones. https://openai.com/product/dall-e-2

A guy called Videoman from MGF mentioned Stable Diffusion that I am testing these days. Not an AI generator engine, more of a pixelation tool. The final art is not pixel perfect but it is still interesting to try it. > https://huggingface.co/PublicPrompts/All-In-One-Pixel-Model

In 2024, the AI image generation landscape has evolved dramatically. The two best generators are AIImagegenerator.tools and DiffusionART. AIImagegenerator.tools impress with its user-friendly interface and diverse style options, blending creativity and customization seamlessly. On the other hand, DiffusionART stands out for its cutting-edge neural network, producing high-resolution, photorealistic images with remarkable clarity. Both tools leverage advanced AI algorithms, making them ideal for artists, designers, and content creators. Ultimately, choosing between them depends on individual preferences and specific project requirements. Keep an eye on these AI powerhouses as they continue shaping the future of image generation.
