Owlman WIP

Hello there !
I present you today a small project of mine: Owlman, from DC Comics !

IDK why I had a small period where I was obsessed with Earth 3, and as a result started working on this.
IMO, however, Earth 3 characters should use the same sprite base than the Earth 1 version, mostly because they are the same person (not Owlman tho)
So after looking for a different base for Owlman, I came to conclusion than none were worth the one by Alucard (sorry for the ones who made the other Batmans... but damn, Alucard's Batman rocks), and those started to use the same character and change it.

The style (especially the helmet) is some kind of mix between all of the versions, to be able to get your favs depending on the palette.

For now, it's just a sprite modification of Alucard's Batman, with changed voicelines. However, my goal in the future would be to change some special and some hypers to get a new character (I have ideas here).

The sprite modification is not totally over, as I sill have to modify the wristblades on most sprites, change the belt, and modify the cape (I'm still wondering how to draw the lines just the right way).

I'm sorry for the quality, I did as I could with what I had. I don't find that particulary interesting as, from a gameplay stance, it's Batman V Batman: Dawn of the Batmaning  [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Also, a little game here: I intend on changing the stance. But I'm still not sure on which base I should use. I'll let you vote (even if candido did it first ^^). The poll will end at the end of the Event.

Can you put all stances in so we can choose which one we want that way everyone is happy and you can easily switch them if you want to make a battle feel more dramatic

Like GL ? Switching between palettes ?
Well, I'm not sure how to do that, but maybe if everything is over and done with the character, I could try !
But FYI, all the sprites here are actually taken from the character, so they are already inside to be used if you want to switch

Yeah, I remember! I looked at all the previous projects before doing mine to gather ideas.
You can recognize the owl symbol, it's the same used on all the projects (so perfect that using another would be dumb at this point).

The one you show here is also similar to the one used insids Alucard's Batman, in his "multiverse Batmen attack".
While I love this Owlman style, I prefered a more different approach, notably goggles, to be able to make most Owlmen with just one char.

it looks complete already, its good to finally see atleast a version of owlman. i wonder how we can make all the other leagues from earth 3

Well... I didn't want to spoil things before I had more advanced WIPs, but I have some projects for that [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

It's totally fine to release, but I would prefer to really create a different character than Batman first. But don't worry, I'll release it. I don't intend on making a WIP without releasing it someday.
