Captain Planet Concept

there is a private captain planet project, but the concept is easy to replicate.

the bases used are Ryo from Art of Fighting 3 for the head, White Buffalo from Power Instinct Matrimelee for the body, and Cyclops' boots.

I hope this inspires someone to made it for mugen. The portrait is made by me and is free to use.

But this Captain Planet idea isn't using somebody else's work, it's just using similar base from somebody's private work like Hydroman. There's a difference.

Or maybe you didn't know that wonder woman is a work of a mugen creator and not from an official game like art of fighting, power instinct, & capcom.

Please clarify your understanding.

To summarize this, there’s very much a difference between using the sprite sheet of a custom character vs doing the work from scratch

But anyways, the first post has such a great job replicating the existing private char, I’d urge you to continue doing the full sheet lol

Sounds a bit like delusion or at the least splitting hairs to justify things that benefit you. The private work is custom. And it's not from from scratch lol if you using a pre-made stencil made by somebody else. Either its all up for grabs or you respect everybody's work

@chancethegamer is wrong from the part about from scratch, but the main point here is to use a base from an official game in a frankensprite manner which uses mixture of bases.

About skhsato using wonderwoman, it wasn't frankensprited by him, loganir frankensprited wonderwoman and then is edited to Lady thor, and @skhsato123 lied about using different bases for the sprites he posted which resulted @wil.li.an pointing out that he didn't.

So please @shags2dope know the difference between frankensprited bases of official games and Editing an existing frankensprited work.

I know the difference big dog lol you guys arguing that it's not ok to copy a guy's work who Frankenstein sprites to make a character and but ok with copying that same process to reproduce an identical character. The skhsato said he did what your describing took a character that is frankensprited and reproduced it using the same process. So if you guys create an identical character to scruffy using the same bases? What's the difference him using the same bases to reproduce a different character??? He legit showed the bases needed to copy someone else's work it's not even a different version of captain planet and says it In the opening post. Like I Said what's good for the house is good for the gander I'm not saying don't copy or do copy I'm saying make sure you guys have the same energy for all things copying lol that's all

I thought I was summarizing what candido said but he said part of what I put was wrong   original poster found the bases to copy the char shown in a private video and provided the bases. In my opinion, that’s different from taking a character already frankensprited to create a new 1

What would really great is if the char from the video gets a public release so we scrap this whole topic lol

Upon doing research, I see this is about the female Thor. To be honest, I read what you 2 said and tried to summarize what candido said. I didn’t even know what character shag was referring to being chewed out until now. All I saw was the part about Wonder Woman. Idk how but I missed the female Thor WIP thread smh
