If MMV was to set a policy on commission work, how do you think it should work?

Discuss please.
We privately have a policy in place, but considering making it more visible and we welcome input on how it should be mentioned, and if it should amended.

Commissioned creations are worked out between the spriters, coders, and those who are willing to pay. I don't see how a forum policy could affect that, one way or the only.

People looking to financially benefit from mugen (with characters that don't belong to them in the first place (Marvel, DC, etc)) shouldn't and don't need help from the forum. If they are private jobs, how does the forum benefit from them? That they open their own web page and that their work is not disclosed here if they do not intend to share it.

Can sell a service (the act of coding/spriting something for someone), but not a character.
The intention of this topic is to flesh that out further and using the crowd source usage of this topic to see if it can help.

Fair enough. 1. You can set a value for the time you invest for a comissioned work X your skills.
2. You can't charge for send a character that you did. However, you are NOT obligated to send anyone/make it public.
Is that right?

In the end, we will sort it all out. Right now we are just trying to crowd source what that will be.

we will figure something out shortly...partially because its been 2 weeks since contacted chuchoryu's email.
whatever will help enable anyone who is good with commissions, both paying for and working them.
it will also help prevent people who are the opposite. they wont be able to list a paypal, talk about commissions, etc.
