it is possible to not watch the original game of thrones while tracking house of the dragon. but you may miss some easter eggs and inferences. | |

it had eight seasons though I think it was more the fact that they were promised to head a Star Wars show, and had to finish off Game of Thrones before they could take it on. However, due to decline in quality of GoT, they were kicked off the Star Wars project, so, yeah. So! For House of the Dragon, it seems very promising, I really liked the vibe, and the tone of the show, just as I had regarding GoT. The difference is, now we know how messed up this world can get, which makes it very little predicatable and super exciting. | |

| the showrunners rushed the last seasons. in theory, the concepts were fine. the problem was took shortcuts and it made everything seem sloppy...hurting the anticipation fans had built up.
hope new show takes that into account. | |

game of thrones had some humor in it. the new show is serious ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time. | |
