But he's the one who made MCU Thor more lovable and relatable. Plus his Jojo rabbit movie was phenomenal.
Thor's attitude shifts quickly from Thor 1&2 to Thor 3. It comes as an out of character but at least in Thor 4 you'll get the reason why, and it was through living with Jane and his time on earth.
Now I do find this latest Thor film a bit too much when it comes to jokes, I even hated that goat scream joke that was repeatedly comes around. But overall I quite enjoyed it.

I Did not see the movie yet I would speak about Thor ragnarok... It should be more serious movie There is a deportation of entire planet and it seems a comedy... Comic movies needs to be light movies but not much light than Thor ragnarok

I'll tried, but don't work for me, Bale does great but don't have enough time on the film, Natalie Portman does a very fine interpretation, Crhis is for me here like in the Ghostbusters movie, Drama sometimes can't take it seriously 'cause the comedy brokes the feeling, for me Taika Waikiki is a very good director but I can't say I have empathy for his work in Marvel. For me is a number 4 in this phase, Eternals number 3, number 2 for spiderman and first for Dr Strange, maybe is a number 5 don't know now if I preffer Shang-Shi or Thor Love & Thunder

ragnarok is definitely my favorite of the thor movies. #1 would be 2nd.
i liked this, but i guess i went into it thinking natalie portman would be thor for the MCU in the future.

I did enjoy Love & Thunder, and while I have been in discussion with others it is that you either love Taika Waititi's craft or you really dislike it. And it's understandable.
I would personally rank them: 1. Thor: Ragnarok. 2. Thor: Love & Thunder. 3. Thor. 4. Thor: The Dark World.
What worked: Gorr the God Butcher was incredible in this movie, from the visuals to the eerie creepy acting of Bale. I did not know how I would react to the character in MCU since it's story is very big and important in the Thor lore, but they managed to make it work, even without the Symbiote explanations for the necrosword.
The visuals and the fight choroagraphy was probably one of the strongest sides to this movie, it was nice to see Gorr, Thor, Jane, Valkyrie, etc, and especially the fight on the "moon?" where Gorr was.
The small cameos were also pretty good, and there were some good jokes thrown in there luckily, which was remenisence of Ragnarok, however ...
What did not work: Too many jokes! The whole thing quickly turned into a comedy film, which I am kind of ok with, since Ragnarok did it so well, but in Love & Thunder I feel like they relied a lot more on the humour to make it work, which I think is a bit dissapointing. The storyline where Gorr and Amazing Thor/Jane Foster's rendition is taken out from is very dark and depressing, which could be used for a deeper storytelling and a bigger character developement for a few characters. However, while the film did dare to touch the water on some horror and action adventure, it was pretty much just reverted back to comady.
Also, I think Korg is getting too much screentime. I do not "hate" the character, far from it, but he usually just a plot device to breastfeed the audience of what's happening, which ... is not the best narrative progression I'd like.
While I love Russell Crowe, I did not find his portraying of Zeus to be that big. Mostly due to Zeus being this "scary", nearly all-mighty god that should be feared, not a bloody joke. However not to spoil the ending completley, but I like what they are potentially setting up for Thor 5. I do not mind it being Taika Waitit, but ... please cut back on some of the jokes, and make it a bit more daring.

I don't know the series well, neither any of those Marvel characters more than a slight glance on wikipedia... but the artistic direction of the movie was kinda lame if you consider they made look the main villain like an Italian comic actor and musician....
I also got a theory about the villain's concept... not quite sure though, lol

there was no attempt to make him look like that italian.
its merely coincidence of the pix both of them took.

I know, I was pointing out the funny resemblance. Honestly, he looks better in the comics... even if the comics concept doesn't look that original I mean... you can see what probably drove the authors into making him look the way he does... or at least that's how I think they came up with that concept.
theories, nothing worrysome
plagiarism is pretty common in comics, cartoons, anime, etc... entertainment arts in general... look at Zeno
to me, his head looks like Stewie Griffin's one.
A childish character with an oval face, no hair, ears on the extremes of the oval/football shape... you just have to use imagination to see the resemblances... and it happens for a lot of characters.. from America to Japan and viceversa... artists copy each other according to trends. Bandai saw, for example, that Family Guy was doing good... so they made some character like Stewie appear in their series... and it's no wonder DragonBall Super series has a lot of "family moments" in it... surely more than Z or GT
or MrBean / Sheldon Cooper... a tons of examples can be done
Of course Marvel or whatever other big entertainment corporation will never admit where they take their ideas from or what is the source of their inspiration... they would lose their reputation (therefore customers/believers/fans) if they did.
To me, they're kinda ethically wrong: they're dissacrating old myths, that's all, portraying probably a trivial image of Thor, for example.
