I forgot to mention that necrobumping is OK.

Well actually it's against the rules to necrobump unless there is something important to add. There are exceptions. I personally don't mind necrobumping at all, if anyone posts anything I will call that good, better to be active and alive than dead.

On topic

Finish the sprites and animations first before requesting a coder, at least bring it to alpha level, just something to get a general idea. If enough is there then a coder will be willing to help out.

Also if no coder is willing to help, try it yourself, it is sometimes the only way to get a wip completed.

good, don't forget blocking, falling, getting hit, and basic attacks of standing, crouching, and jumping of both punches and kicks  

Man just to make one characters costs an arm and a leg, and this isn't even counting sounds, sound fxs, technical work, coding, hitsparks, specials, hypers, taunts, special effects, and additional custom features.
