I like the idea of having her dress up as other characters. Some characters it would be cool to see are: Psylocke, Rogue, Storm, and Cammy, maybe Sakura.

Of course that would be great. Personally I imagined as a broader crossing of characters, beyond CAPCOM and SNK, or with a humoristic tone, something more typical of MUGEN. With this concept in mind, Kitana is another good alternative.
But in the end it all depends on which "universe" you want to include her in.

I thought it would be a more custom one when I saw Capcom. But still good to see CVS1/CVS2 's sprite set of Mai. To me this is the best design of Mai.
Capcom focus less on boobs and more on curvy/sexy silhouette, legs, hips... ^^
