Easter Egg 2021 Event planning

Hello everyone. I am posting this on behalf of Shining.

Sorry for the late notice, I was just asked to put feelers out there and see if there is anyone that has anything to contribute.

We could always just do a mini event over the weekend only.

Here are just some of the ways that events are very important for the community:
- bring in new members to the community
- bring awareness to the webite
- promote new creators
- promote new sprite artists
- promote new WIPs
- promote new releases
- inspire more involement from new members
- inspire previously retired creators to return to mugen


So who is interested in helping?

This is open to anyone who wants to participate.

There is quite a bit to to when planning an event.
We need to have enough coverage in all of the areas.


How to get involved?

-Promoting the event
--drawing more people in by promoting as much as you can
--social media outlets, in person, whatever

-Spriting
--show off new art
--create a banner for the event
--maybe start a sprite contest

-If you have a WIP to show off
--new WIP reveals
--new progress on an old WIP to show off

-If you have a release
--show off new release

-If you create Palettes
--show off new palettes
--create some palettes for the releases as they are coming out

-If you do not fit into the above or want more to take on, you can
--promote the event, site, and community
--test releases out
--provide thoughtful feedback on WIPs, and releases
--provide a review of a release
--take screenshots of releases and show them off
--take videos of releases and show those off



If you are interested in helping out please reply below (or in PM) clearly stating what you are willing to help with.
If you have a WIP to show off, or a release there is no need to reveal it here (or in PM), simply state that you will do a WIP reveal or release.

And I spoke with other 8 members, they will have something to show and releases

I can't release what I just coded because they are not my sprites and I can't get in touch with brander about it

I forgot that 1 guy’s name but he has full Pinhead and Eric Draven sprite sheets in MVC style that have never been coded. The same guy that sprited thatguy’s Michael Myers. He also updated the Myers sprites. Just a FYI if someone is looking for something open source to code for this event that’s not in Mugen. I can’t think of the guy’s name at the moment

I have some surprises and ideas. (I hope to have freetime to show them).

Who cares?take any sprite you want ,nobody will care.

Carpa that should be good and I can't wait for them I'll also come up with more sprite swap ideas for you when morbuis and prowler are done

im working in prowler for you bro jejejej

I am working in Arsenal, together with Yolomate and Shaggy 2dope, I hope to finish it by then, or at least have a good progress.

If you want more members, you can make a YouTube video about mugen and the site and things we can do in mugen,....,maybe it will work because a lot of people doesn't know what is mugen,and I think a lot of people like 2d fighting games and they wish to see more than 100 characters in one game,like Me ,we should make mugen more popular to get more members,spriters, coders.
