You could add the gun attached on his thigh before he draws it to shoot so that the animation will be more fluent. I know he's only a striker, and doesn't need to be very detailed, but the animation seems little off, as the gun suddenly pops out of nowhere.

I think he did slow down the animation in that part, it looks better, because he takes the weapons off his back.

pepin68, you are doing a very interesting edit. But keep in mind that many times you have a huge loss in the shading of the sprites. I think you should prevent this from being carried over to char.

I decided on a smart palette so it will take a little longer, but we keep working.
