character spritesheets Empty
PostSubject: character spritesheets   character spritesheets EmptyJuly 2nd 2013, 1:49 pm

as the readme says:
Quote :
As promised, I am releasing the character sprites for your free use. You can recolor them, you can modify them, you can copy parts of them, - use them in any way you like, just give a proper credit and don't claim you made those.

Why sheets? Well I have some friends among sprite editors whom I myself consider as master editors. And they prefer to work with sheets intead of single frames. Most of you will maybe agree to them. If not - the lists are made very friendly to various sheet-ripping programs.

Why 24b? Obviously to avoid color loss on you edits. After your edit on entire char is finished, the 24b sheet is more than useful to build a proper palette.

Why png? Well obviously because of better compression and lesser weight. Although most of latest Fighter factory builds do not recognize png for import and programs like Mugen Character Maker only see pcx, png is still the most reliable format for sharing.

I am releasing these sheets because I don't have any plans for these sprites. I don't have a habit of not sharing some stuff "just beacause". And please, please don't run into me asking to insert your new edits/upgrades into characters who are already released in the build.

so now posting the sheets here separately.
character spritesheets M5w
character spritesheets Ic39
character spritesheets Zvv
character spritesheets Ionb
as said, use them in any way you like, just give credit.
that's all for now, thanks

I'm a fan of your work, I like what you do ... I wanted to ask you rips sprites yourself or use already rip-sprite if you make them yourself, then what version of the game you do it

In most cases I used the sprites posted on MK Warehouse. it is widely known that they are not the best quality, but at the time it was the only option
