I would like to officially announce my Brainiac WIP
he is based on the 1980s super powers style version, which is my favorite. i would like to eventually do many of the dc characters from this era, and i have a few started as WIP.
Primeop was kind enough to let me use his brainiac sprite as a starting point. if you havent been to his site, you should check it out. it is awesome

This character is actually pretty far along, so expect to be playing a beta soon.

This is sprited?
It looks more like a 3d converted to sprites or something, it's too godly fluid to be sprited (i'm not complaining if it is tho)

it is sprited, of sorts. bwwd uses a series of programs and free hand drawing to aid in his work. he definitely gets some nice fluid results
