Planning MMV Christmas & Holiday Event ***we need you***

Well it's about time to start planning our MMV Christmas & Holiday Event.

The Event will start around Christmas and go to the New Year


Here are just some of the ways that events are very important for the community:
- bring in new members to the community
- bring awareness to the webite
- promote new creators
- promote new sprite artists
- promote new WIPs
- promote new releases
- inspire more involement from new members
- inspire previously retired creators to return to mugen


So who is interested in helping?

This is open to anyone who wants to participate.

There is quite a bit to to when planning an event.
We need to have enough coverage in all of the areas.


How to get involved?

-Promoting the event
--drawing more people in by promoting as much as you can
--social media outlets, in person, whatever

-Spriting
--show off new art
--create a banner for the event
--maybe start a sprite contest

-If you have a WIP to show off
--new WIP reveals
--new progress on an old WIP to show off

-If you have a release
--show off new release

-If you create Palettes
--show off new palettes
--create some palettes for the releases as they are coming out

-If you do not fit into the above or want more to take on, you can
--promote the event, site, and community
--test releases out
--provide thoughtful feedback on WIPs, and releases
--provide a review of a release
--take screenshots of releases and show them off
--take videos of releases and show those off



If you are interested in helping out please reply below (or in PM) clearly stating what you are willing to help with.
If you have a WIP to show off, or a release there is no need to reveal it here (or in PM), simply state that you will do a WIP reveal or release.

Excellent thanks for getting involved in the event.  
More news to come as we get closer to Mid-December.

To everyone reading this post. We have been already chatting in Private and have a couple people signed up for this. We have some surprises for you don't you worry

This is a public post to try and get our community involved. There is no pre-requisite to getting involved. This is open to all (new users to admin). I posted the suggestions on the first post to help, those that have always wanted to help more, or always wanted to be more involved. You are not limited to the suggestions on the first post. Anything you contribute will be appreciated.

Suggestions on the first post for how to get involved.
All entries are appreciated.
Without the help of our community we can't have these events.

Please reply as soon as possible so we can create a schedule.
-just because we have a schedule doesn't mean you can't release on other day(s) too.
-your scheduled day just means you need something for that day as well
-we team people up on days as well and try and even out the releases

if I don't finish my chars till the final of year, I will publish as WIPs

We have just over 20 days to go. We need people to sign up so we can make this another great event.

The Halloween Event only had about 10 people sign up prior to the event, yet by the time we were finished there were over 30 people involved in it.
We saw over 80 Releases or WIPs (mostly releases) over our Halloween event.

Please sign up and be an official part of the event this time

I'm still hoping we have some more people sign up

Please sign up ASAP as we still need to make up a schedule.

If more people don't sign up, we will not have a structured event this year

We will still have some releases, and surprises throughout the season for you though

I have some surprises for this event.

I have something but my computer is having problems so can't be sure I will be online. If it helps I can send you the links now in case I am away
