But I do not know anything about the fighters of Fighting Layer ... their stories ... motivations ... where and why they meet the street fighter EX fighters ... why did not they show up in the SFEX series? Please let me know, help me. Tanks.

Fighting Layers its a (aparently) Demo of 3D fighting game in 1996, Arika Nishitani doing this for succes in SFEX series, Nishitani work for Capcom in 1990 and he starting Arika in 1995, so Capcom made a lot of SF2 version (SF4 & SF5 are not the first) so people ask for SF3, so Capcom did Zero/Alpha version and Arika want a SF3 to, but they made firts Fighitng Layers for Arcade and Mame emulator only, Allen Snider and Blair Dame are not EX characters they are Fighting Layers charcters. Fighting Layers are a Arika game and produced by Namco, and have a little partial success so Capcom have plans for a 3D Street Fighter they called EX series based on events of SF Alpha 2 (at the end) and SF2 Events (after SF2 starting) so Namco not give the complete license for add much original Fighitng Layers charcters in EX series the reason why Allen and Blair have not make appareance in SFEX2

I have a little question that I believe you can answer quickly:

FIGHTING LAYER MERGED WITH THE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS OF STREET FIGHTER EX?
NOW THEY ARE ONLY ONE FRANCHISE?

I did some research about that thing, but I couldn't find an answer about that question.

I believe there is not a deep history in this franchise, however, nothing to lessen this loyalty game. Also I did not find much information about the relationships and involvements of the characters. What can not be said of SFEX, with its characters well linked by plots and relationships. I just found out that Tetsuo Kato is the protagonist. I hope to see more of these spectacular characters from FIGHTING LAYERS mugenized by the great CHUCHORYU shidoshi..

Me: offocourse, now Arika fighting game Fighting Layers its totally Arika game, the reason? Namco/Bandai are more concentrate in Tekken series and they not bring support on Arika around of 19 years, other reason its in SF5 DLC Patch 2 from 2017 2 of the guest charcters for the game are Gaura and Hokuto, including the image show they but Capcom change this 2 for Abigail and Kolin, now Arika made Fighting EX Layers for made his how line of argument in this 2 games Fighting Layers and SFEX series, maybe in the future they can add Tetsuo or Janise in the game

Thanks bro I have 3 Fighting Layers chars, so about the original Fighting Layers the story tells about to seek the best fighter in the world for a collection (yes its sounds like a Rugal back story) so many fighters from diffrent lands arrive to this tournament, Blair are in search of the big boss and allen try to show he is the best fighter, Janise only for fun, Tetsuo for prove himself around the world, the back story of Fighting Layers its a "parody" of many games the reason why this game are not very popular considering in the 90s Street Fighter, SNK and Konami are the most seller games of that age, Arika games starting to show his content when Street Fighter EX Plus a arrive on arcades and PS1 (and in the cancelled port for N64) so many people ask for SFEX4 in 2005 and yes Arika works in a continue of the game...cancelled in 2006 and they re-starting everything by himself in 2012 for give Fighting EX in Nintendo 3DS but again they cancelled this game, so in 2016 Arika announce this game again under EX only now we have a "complete game" for now

maybe wrong question in the wrong thread, but since we're talking about under-rated fighting games: what about Ryuji from Fighter's Destiny (N64)? ...
