| Hello, everyone. I'm here to announce a new W.I.P. I've been working on. Its a Pocket Link. So far, all of his required animations (except hurt sprites) are finished. So far, he has four Hypers, and 10 specials finished (two of those specials have two variations.) I'll be adding more later. He uses edited, and recolored sprites that come from LoZ: Four Swords Adventures, and LoZ: Minish Cap. For his voice he uses his SSB4 voice. His hit SFX use SSBM sounds.  Thanks! Anyway, here's some more work. He has a Hyper Background and a Hyper Portrait. However, he isn't MVC-styled. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]He also has a new special: Firerod! It is a very simple projectile move. It just shoots fire from a rod. | @mugense7/70 it's a good start for sure. Welcome to the forum.
Some minor feedback for you: when taking sprites from multiple sources careful that they match up. On your screenshot of the fire rod you can tell link on the left and the right are both from different games. There are 3 things different with the sprites (not by much, but noticeable).
1. The size is different
2. The drawing style is different
3. The colors of the sprites (one has black outlines, one doesn't; the shades of colors are a little different)
This can be easily fixed (if you choose to) by:
1. Editing the sprites that are bigger/smaller to match all others
2. Editing minor sprite details of the sprites to match all others
3. Recoloring the sprites to match all others | |

| I am very sorry to say this, but this is no longer being worked on. I hate to admit this, but this character had lots of code from other characters.  (I apologize for taking the code without crediting.) Plus, this character had palette consistency problems, which I constantly ignored during the works of this character. I am now working on characters that don't just take about 3 days to complete. I'm coding this myself now, without taking code. Once again, I'm sorry that I haven't kept you updated, and I'm sorry that I'm not continuing this. Oh, and school is also putting a MAJOR time constraint on my schedule.  | |
