I found the sprites on Spriters Resource and I haven't released anything in a long time. I did this on my own purely without asking anyone else for assistance (I know, it might shock some of you). There are animations and the only thing I was unable to do was remember how to use a mirror reflection or a water splash effect, I never figured out how to do those.

If someone could post this over on Mugen Fighters Guild for me, I'd appreciate it, since they have me banned over there for 4 years now over stuff they won't ever get over, while I've been a completely changed person since then. Posting it in other places would be appreciative as well!  

Positivity and my motivation to try and remember everything on stage creation to the point I know now, led me to finish this so yay!

intensity = 0
- Leave this value to 0 if you don't want any reflection.
- Reflection should be used only on stages where the floor can logically reflect the players : some clean marble, water, etc. Don't use it because it makes the stage flashier, it's ridiculous.
- Don't use shadow AND reflection in the same stage, it looks bad and not natural. If the floor reflects the players, there won't be any shadows. In fact, the temple stage by Elecbyte is a good example of what you should avoid in terms of shadow+reflection.
- In short, if the intensity of the reflection is not 0, the shadow's one should be 0, and vice-versa.


For the water splash it can be done 2 ways.

1. Add in animations of water splashing (or rippling) a layer above the water, but behind the characters.
See Cybaster's tutorial (too large to paste the whole thing here sorry).

2. Make characters interactive with the water (best only for full games)
When characters Jump, Run, Land, Fall Down, etc on the water, it makes a splash, and a sound.
See Electro's Interactive mugen. There are multiple stages with this, and it has the code.

To make characters interactive you must
be running mugen 1.0 or 1.1
modify your screenpack's fightfx.sff, and AIR
modify you characters CNS(s), and AIR

I like the way the mugen stage is made , but I do agree that water do need some animation Very Happy I still say not bad and look good cheers
