Am I the only one sick of "Pocket" characters?

This has been going on for the last few MONTHS....every freaking Monday, a new "PocketMonday" video goes up previewing yet another waste of our time, and someone else's talent.

What's really, REALLY sad about this is that quite a few of the "Pocket World" characters are ones that we desperately need FULL-SIZED versions of, yet the poster of this video (and the "genius" behind PocketMonday) keeps churning these out like they're solid gold or something (oh, they're solid, all right.....just on the opposite end of the spectrum from "gold").

Am I the only person here who's sick of this and wants this whole "Pocket" thing to just end?

If a mugen character's bad, then it's bad.
But let's talk about the gameplay, it's mvc-ish, isn't it?
You know, i don't see much of this, but if they are really mvc-ish instead of figuring something different out, then it's a disapointment in this case IMO

the game was released a year ago, and the game have a warmachine and a x23 in pocket style

I don't either, I really dislike "chibi" artstyles. But that's pretty much it.

I like the DC Pocket (I can't use 1.1 because my PC, I wish they make a 1.0 version with the new characters), but it's a shame the characters are private... Well, I can't do anything...

i know where your coming from since alot of the pocket characters included i would love to have as full size characters, but honestly its not really a waste of anyone's time. I enjoy the original pocket fighter (Capcom) and the pocket fighters are neat. But if you arent interested in them Magus is working on full size mugen characters as well and he shows those on fridays. so its pretty much a win/win

Sick of it? Are you even playing those pocket characters to be sick of it? Also it's not as if you're being forced to play it, if you don't like it then don't play it. I'm not really into pocket characters myself but I'll never say it's a waste of time and talent.

I dont like to much the chibi or super deformed, "big head small torso", or the "miniatures" like the Jump Ultimate Stars, so maybe mi dear DukeNukem 2417 bro. must do what i do about them...don´t use them...IMO

so what is the point of this??? that every person in this forum agreed with you?? if you dont like something dont use or play or wacth it............

Indeed. If you don´t like it, don´t use this stuff. It´s definitely not a "waste of time & talent".
It´s not my cup of tea, but many other love it.
Not everything is for your liking.

What I'm sick of is the guy posting the videos of his stupid pocket characters while his site still hasn't released Drax the Destroyer, Power Girl, the version of War Machine everyone's been waiting for and the Eradicator.  It's an absolute pain to know that he's sitting on characters that people have wanted for ages, but instead of giving them what they want, he's lording it over them and "giving" them pocket crap.

Oh, and for anyone who thinks I'm exaggerating, he posted this gem on Facebook:  

"This video is dedicated to DukeNukem2417, many thanks for the publicity and if you were wondering and for your delight DC pocket world continues until April after that it will come some Pocket Marvel."

You shouldnt take this stuff personally especially since that drax is not finished, power girl is Logansams , erradicator belongs to bizarre toro and with warmachine he is waiting for subscribers or something, which isnt unreasonable.

and for devils advocate, his pocket videos are just for fans, since that game has already been released so he isnt giving anyone any new "pocket crap" they are already there. Its not like he has all these things in storage and besides this site itself is full of WIPS that i too think should be released. Just have to be patient since its their work so they can dictate when they release it.

Im sure we will get said characters. since most of the GREAT comic characters came from SD (team)

That last sentence alone shows the big problem.  When SD was, in fact, a TEAM of people, they were putting out great stuff.  Now that it's just one person, he's hyping logansam's work and promoting his pocket stuff like that's something new and exciting (it's neither).  

You say Drax is unfinished?  I say SD should get some volunteers to help finish him.  

Eradicator belongs to BizarroToro?  Someone fire-off an e-mail and ask him to send whatever he hasn't finished to an experienced coder so they can pick up the work load.  

He wants more subscribers and views for War Machine? HE SHOULD QUIT PUSHING POCKET CRAP ON EVERYONE AND PROMOTE WHAT THE PEOPLE ACTUALLY WANT!

Well he was head of that team so i dont see why you would lose faith, especially since those other ppl have all QUIT, he is the only one still going

as far as content He is working on this currently and when he has something new he posts about these characters on friday, and unlike Logansams JLAvAvengers game i dont think this one will be all private characters (No offense intended logansam)

I respect your passion but your arguments could be pointed at a multitude of ppl on this site and pretty much EVERY mugen site for that matter. ParoDox still hasnt released his constantine, Beto never released his DAKEN, Volzilla has a bunch of characters that we wont see if he doesnt return.

Patience bro its all about patience, hell it took arkady almost 4 years to release vision
