| Hi everyone! My name is ScaricareStronzate and this is my first post! i hope that this is the right section to ask for it. I'd like to know if there's a way to edit Gill by Hero to make his projectiles (Pyro and CryoKinesis) hit just one time like normal hadouken. Btw i'm working on a mugen and trying to collect the best characters i can find, nothing special just to play it with my friends, and i think that a normal projectile that cannot be stopped by most of the other characters ones is a little annoying (cause he throws 2 fireballs at time). The problem is that i've tried to fix it but i messed up everything | |

| I fixed that mediafire hyperlink already (just needed to use the CODE tags). Gill's fireballs are stronger because it has both fire/ice elements in those. + I will try to study Hero's Gill to see if I could make it hit just once for you. And, you are so lucky to have some friends to play MUGEN with you! I don't have any friends to play MUGEN with me.....so you be easy on your friends, don't beat them up so badly in MUGEN, or they will rage-quit LOL | |

The problem is that i've tried to fix it but i messed up everything Glad to see you joining us man, i could take the aditional hit of gill's fireball away, but i want to talk more about the projectile with you (also, Werewood is doing it too and it would be a waste of time for one of us)You see Gill is naturally a boss, but let me give you another reason to keep his projectile 2 hits: Most characters that have a projectile have also a projectile that has two hits, but thoose projectiles are normaly ex moves that spend half of one energy bar, no problem though because characters that play in that gameplay style can get that amout of energy really quick, my point is, gill does not have EX moves so if you take his two hits fireball and turn into one, gill won't be able to rely in EX fireballs either, this might break up balance a little bit turning him weaker. You see there is always a catch, an other example is akuma's red fireball, it has three hits (or two or one, depending of what punch button have you used) but the catch with that move is that his fireball takes ages to be shot because you can see that akuma has to charge it (and guess what it takes more time depending on which punch button you used for it). | |

Mmm yeah you've got a point but you know it's hard to talk about balance between characters in mugen, and there is always one that results too op because of the choices made by the author, for this reason i use to try to fix them where i can to fit the kind of gameplay i have in my mind. That said i didn't notice that Gill has not EX moves i took it for granted based on most of the other characters that have them and i just focused on his annoying normal fireballs. Maybe i should give a better look Btw this seems to be a very good community u are all nice people It hurts to think about all the time that i have lost with the league of legends one i nearly lost faith in human kind | |
