| I'm looking for 8-to-16-bit characters that can jump, shoot, or attack, similar to Megaman. Best examples would be Modokman, Novaman, and the April Fool's joke of Scarlet Spider Kaine. My biggest frustration is trying to find a basic NES Mario. You'd think it'd be the easiest task, but it's far from it. I just want an NES Mario that is small and can shoot basic fireballs and jump as his only means of defense. I'm trying to make a Mugen with the top row of characters being 8-bit, while the bottom row is bosses for them to fight. I would like some help. ovo;;

| Just use modokman as a template,go get sprite sheets from spriters resource also they have sounds aswell,and make your own versions.that way they all play the same and your games evenly rounded.ask bdc if you can use modokmans coding as a template first. Ohhh and i have some nes style 8bit shit i can email you if you want aswell. | |

I just realized how I worded my request, and I gave out the wrong idea. O.o I meant 8-to-16-bit in general. ^^;; Here's a list of some of the ones I'm questing for: Samus Blaster Master Link from Zelda: 2 Rick from Splatterhouse: 3 Normy from Normy's Beach Babe o' Rama The Kid from I Wanna Be The Guy (The only one I saw available has the ability to summon spikes and the moon. I just want him to shoot and double jump)

http://web.archive.org/web/20050920081946/http://sugio.hp.infoseek.co.jp I really appreciate this, but after a while of navigating through it, I found a row of characters with Japanese writing below their portraits. I assumed they were download links, but they take me to the same page, saying stuff like: "Free Credit Report; Airline Tickets" stuff like that. O.o
