I don't think the get hits will be too difficult, but they are crucial !!! I think a shake, and feeling "hurt" by the character inside will elevate that, but it's deff crucial for the character to work.

You could simply make the wheel flash red faster and faster untill it explodes for the hits it takes

Possible, but I believe that is more of the "heat" than the actual threat. I believe as a boss, bonus or potentially down the line as a potentilly playable we don't cheat ourselves into an expperience.

Finally, I got to the Big Wheel. Fright for the state of the weapon as an option for taking damage. Can add sparks on the wheel
